Terms and Conditions for the Austrian Prize Draw “North America, your way”

The prize draw is organized by Austrian Airlines AG (hereinafter referred to as “Austrian”). By participating in the prize draw, the participant accepts these terms and conditions:

1. Participation
Participation takes place by entering the required data i.e. the Travel ID and booking reference, in the designated input form and by ticking the checkbox to accept the Terms and Conditions for participation.

Participation is possible from October 1, 2026, to October 30, 2026 (11:59 p.m., Vienna local time). The decisive factor is the time of electronic receipt. Entries received after this deadline will not be considered.

Austrian assumes no liability for technical disruptions outside its sphere of influence, in particular for network or system failures.

2. Eligibility to Participate
Only natural persons are eligible to participate who:

  • have reached the age of 18,
  • have their main residence in Austria,
  • have made a valid booking in their name via austrian.com for a flight departing from Vienna to any destination in North America within the period from October 1, 2026, to October 30, 2026,

·         whose departure and return dates are between 1 October 2026 and 31 March 2027.

Each booking reference can only be registered once. Multiple entries are excluded.

The following persons are excluded from participation:

  • Employees of Austrian and affiliated companies as defined in § 15 of the German Stock Corporation Act and their relatives,
  • Employees of participating agencies and their relatives.

3. Exclusion from the Raffle
Austrian is entitled to exclude participants for objectively justified reasons, in particular in the case of violations of the terms and conditions, attempts at manipulation, or inadmissible influence on the raffle.

In the case of justified exclusion, prizes may be revoked and vouchers already transmitted may be blocked.

4. Prize
1 Austrian travel voucher worth EUR 500 will be raffled. The voucher is valid for 1 year from the date of issue.

The travel voucher:

  • cannot be redeemed for cash,
  • is non-transferable,
  • can only be used for flight bookings on Austrian.com and for flights operated by Austrian Airlines with departure from a country in the Eurozone.

5. Determination and Notification of Winners
The winner will be determined by random selection at the end of the prize draw campaign. Notification and transmission of the prize will be made exclusively by email to the email address provided by the participant.

6. Changes to the Terms and Conditions
Austrian reserves the right to end the prize draw prematurely for good cause, especially if proper execution of the prize draw can no longer be guaranteed for technical, legal, or factual reasons. Participation claims already acquired remain unaffected insofar as this is legally possible.

7. Disclaimer
Austrian Airlines is liable only for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

8. Data Protection
Personal data of the participant (e.g., email addresses, names, addresses) will be processed for the purpose of the raffle in accordance with these terms and conditions. 9. Miscellaneous

Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. Invalid or unenforceable provisions will be replaced by valid and enforceable provisions whose effects come closest to the objective pursued by Austrian Airlines.

The German version of these terms and conditions is authoritative.

Recourse to the courts regarding the conduct of the raffle and the prize draws is excluded.

Inquiries regarding the prize draw cannot generally be answered. This does not apply to legally required information or queries in connection with a prize.

10. Applicable Law, Jurisdiction

Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Sales Convention.
